| Angel House Orphanage; Tarime, Tanzania Africa |
| A new sermon series starts at Pentecost, “Wind in the Sails”. On Sunday, May 25 we will have an opportunity to allow God’s Spirit to fill our sails of generosity so that a message of hope can be proclaimed to orphans in Tarime, Tanzania. Let us open our hands by supporting the Miracle Offering so bricks for a new building (that will house 40 orphans, dining hall, and activity center) can be bought. See the poster in the Gathering Area of the new building in Tanzania.

| Graduation Sunday is May 18th! |
|
- Our annual Sunday to recognize those graduating from high school and college is quickly approaching. If you know of a graduate who is connected to our church family please send their information to Matt Reynolds (matt@tippcityumc.org) or call the church office. The graduates will be honored during the 10:30am and 5:30pm service on that Sunday. For each graduate we need the following information: name, school they are graduating from and their future plans

| MOSES AND THE FREEDOM FANATICS |
| - Coming Father’s Day (change of worship schedule for the day….. no 8:00 am service.) Sunday, June 15 in the Great Hall 10:30 service, the kids will present this exciting, fun and interesting program. Kids join the fun at KIDSONG every Sunday during the 10:30 service in room 217 for rehearsals. Mark your calendars for the dress rehearsal on Saturday, June 14 from 6:00-8:00 pm.

| Servants –In –Mission Garage Sale Thank you |
| - A huge thank you to the church family and community friends who donated items, folks who picked-up, sorted, priced, sold, & cleaned-up! Many willing workers made the job easier and the fellowship was GREAT! We made over $3400 for future mission trips! Next trip is being planned for October 9-12. Mark your calendars!

| Singing Opportunity: On May 25, |

| Vacation Bible School (VBS) |
| - We are surfin’ the scriptures at a Beach Party, July 21-25 in the evenings, dinner to start at 5:15 pm. To jump start this ministry a “FREE COMMUNITY POOL BEACH PARTY” will be held at the Tipp Aquatic Center on Saturday, July 19 in the evening. Mark your calendars now!
