| Dan - Lead Pastor |

Dan Glover is the lead pastor and an ordained elder in the United Methodist Church who has devoted his entire ministry career to making disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. His life-long passion for moving people from unchurched to fully committed followers has made him a tireless advocate for intentional discipleship systems in the local church; the development of pastors and church leaders into spiritual warriors; and authentic, compassionate service to the poor and disenfranchised. He is also the president of Deepening Your Effectiveness, Inc., a non-profit organization that provides consulting, training and coaching services designed to equip mission-minded pastors and church leaders throughout the United States to transform their congregations into healthy, growing communities of intentional, reproducing discipleship. Bonita Wood serves as the full-time Pastor of Worship and Care Ministries. She helps to arrange the worship services with the aid of our talented music and graphics departments. She also oversees the many caring ministries that our church offers to our members as well as others in need. Bonita finished her Course of Study at the Methodist Theological Seminary in 2009. Bonita and her husband, Kevin, live in the Miami East District and together they have raised four children: Jennifer, Drew, Bethany and Mark. They also are blessed to have four of the most adorable grandchildren (just ask them they will be happy to share): Chloe Bonita, Kiley Jade, Kylie Ann, and Blaine Patrick. Bonita’s hobbies include reading, golfing, anything involving her grandchildren, and riding her motorcycle.

| Ben - Coord. of Students & Upward |

Ben Lilly is our Coordinator of Student and Upward Ministries. Which is
a really long title that means he gets to hang out with Middle and High
school students, and play basketball with Kindergarten through Sixth
graders. Incidentally the only ones he can compete with are the
Kindergartners. He has been here at TCUMC since June of 2008, and comes
to us from Wadsworth Ohio. He is a graduate of Cuyahoga Valley Christian
Academy, class of '98, and he attended Mount Vernon Nazarene University
after High School. He currently lives in Tipp City, with his wife,
Tara, his daughters Brooklynn born in June 2006, and Jordyn, born Dec
2008 and Brennan, born in August 2010. Ben loves hanging out with his family, playing lots of different
sports, especially disc golf, and listening to music, check out the
Classic Crime, they are one of his favorites right now.

Jack Spoerner is our Coordinator of Children's Ministries. Jack comes to Tipp City United Methodist with over 20 years of children's ministry experience. He loves puppets, music and drama. He also has over 20 years of computer experience as a Systems Programmer and Web developer. He has been married for over 30 years to his wife Mary. They have two children, David and Kimberly, a son-in-law, Abe, and three grandchildren, Olivia, Maverick and Ian. Jack's hobbies are playing his guitar, reading, watching movies and spending time with his favorite person, his wife.

Emma Benner serves as the Nursery Coordinator at Tipp City United Methodist Church. Emma grew up in Tipp City and graduated from Tippecanoe High School in 2007. She began volunteering in the nursery at the age of nine, and has enjoyed her time there ever since. Emma now attends Wright State University where she is majoring in Middle School Education (grades 4-9) with concentrations in Social Studies and Language Arts. Although most of her spare time is spent studying, Emma enjoys reading, swimming, taking pictures, and cooking. In the summer she works as a lifeguard and swim lesson instructor.

Ann Garner serves as our Administrative Assistant/ Church Secretary. Ann came to Tipp City United Methodist Church in 2004 from St. Louis, Missouri. Her family includes a husband who is a pilot, a college age son who is enrolled in ROTC/ Criminal Justice and a college aged daughter who loves Spanish and fashion. Ann graduated with a BS in Financial Planning from Wright State University 1986. Her past work experience includes Kroger store management, Head Start Day care supervision, her own child care business and Wentzville School district substitute teacher and library aide. Ann has always enjoyed serving the Lord through teaching Sunday School, Awannas, Upward Basketball, and community outreach. Her hobbies include boating, traveling and Tippecanoe Football!

| Linda - Chancel Choir Director |

Linda Goodman is in her 5th year serving as director of the Chancel Choir at Tipp City United Methodist Church. Prior to TCUMC, she had 9 years of choral directing experience. Linda was raised in southern California and received a Bachelor of Music degree from the California State University at Fullerton. While in California, she also sang in the televised Hour of Power choir for ten years, and attended Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena. Linda has lived in Ohio for 21 years. She married her husband Don 9 years ago, and they both live and work in Tipp City. She has two grown children living in Nevada and Oregon. Besides her passion for music, Linda enjoys needlecraft projects.

Dave Pinkerton started his musical career by being a baton twirler and drum major, a hobby he still does on occasion. After receiving music degrees from Bowling Green State University and the University of Dayton and serving in the Army, he taught public school music for 33 years. Now retired, he is an avid flower gardener, volunteer in an elementary school, and directs two large bell choirs. He has played and directed hand bells for about 36 years, and loves to help other organizations get started or improve their playing on these beautiful instruments.

Stephanie Ours joined the music staff in 2004. She has a B.A. degree (music - organ) from Wright State University and B.A. degree (education) from Anderson University. Prior to coming to Tipp City UMC, she served as organist at Lutheran churches in Piqua and Kettering, Ohio. Stephanie and Fred (her husband) have two sons and two granddaughters.

Chris Drye has been working with sound since the first day he was allowed to operate the sound board in the main sanctuary. Since then, he has majored in Theatrical Design and Technology with an Emphasis in Sound Design at Wright State University, and served as House Sound Designer at Town Hall Theatre in Centerville for six seasons. Currently he is the CADD Administrator for Copp Systems Integrator in Dayton. His wife Andrea and him keep young with their three sons, Christian, Braedin and Kaeleb.

Robert (Bob) Hussong has grown up in the Dayton Area all of his life and moved to Vandalia after High School where he still lives. In 2000 he married Melissa, an early education graduate of Mount Vernon University, and they now have two children; Contessa (Tess) born in 2004 and Ariana (Aria) born in 2007.
Bob has worked in ministry for 8 years, in 2002 he took on the position of Sunday School class teacher and co-director with Melissa, for the College and Career class and then began helping out in Worship services shortly after. Over the past year Melissa has taken the position of Pre-School director which oversees the departments of newborn through Kindergarten.
Through the talents and abilities that God has gifted him, Bob has worked very hard ensuring that those gifts be used in Kingdom building, not only through the time and dedication of his work at Church, but also through the talents and synergy of his band-mates in their band “A New Creation”: a contemporary rock band who travels the Dayton area and mid-west in the same rock genre as Third Day and Newsboys. A New Creation is currently in the process of finishing up their second CD of all original material.
